This swivel head mount has 1/4"-20 male screw threads on the top swivel assembly for attachment to our solar panels that have 1/4"-20 female screw thread sockets on the back. The swivel head mount can then be attached to our tree mounts, ground stakes and extension poles which have 1/4"-20 male screw threads for attachment to the bottom of this swivel head mount which has a 1/4"-20 female screw thread socket. The swivel head ball can be adjusted in both azimuth and elevation. The azimuth angle can be rotated a full 360°, and the elevation angle can be adjusted up to 45° and a full 90° when the stem on the swivel head ball is positioned in the notch in the housing. These versatile adjustment options allow for positioning of the solar panel to better align with the direction of the sun. See the illustrations for more details about these positioning options and application examples. Once the position of the solar panel is determined, the adjustment knob can be firmly tightened to hold the solar panel in place. The raised textured plastic finish on the top of the round jam nut helps to prevent the solar panel from inadvertently rotating, and the round jam nut can also be firmly tightened up against the back of the solar panel to further prevent inadvertent rotation. The housing of the swivel head is made of a black anodized aluminum alloy, and the swivel ball, stem and screw threads are made of a chrome plated steel to help prevent rust & corrosion. The swivel head mount has a diameter of 1.12” (28.4mm), and its overall height is 2.06” (52.4mm). This swivel head mount can also be used with tripods, digital cameras, cell phones, camcorders, trail cameras, security cameras, camera flashes, and many other types of devices that have standard 1/4"-20 tripod screw threads.
This tree mount has 1/4"-20 male screw threads on the top rotating arm for attachment to our solar panels that have 1/4"-20 female screw thread sockets on the back. The tapered threads on the bottom rotating arm are self-tapping for easy installation onto a tree or wooden post. The elevation angle of the top rotating arm can be moved up or down to optimize exposure of the solar panel to sunlight. Once the optimum angle has been determined, the wing nut at the rotating arm joint can be tightened to prevent the solar panel from moving from the desired position. The tree mount also has a wing jam nut that can be tightened up against the back of the solar panel to prevent it from rotating. The components of this tree mount are made of a painted black steel/iron alloy to help prevent rust & corrosion. This tree mount can also be used with digital cameras, cell phones, camcorders, trail cameras, security cameras, camera flashes, and many other types of devices that have standard 1/4"-20 tripod screw threads. The swivel head mount screws onto the tree mount bracket via standard 1/4”-20 tripod screw threads, and the top of the swivel head mount has standard 1/4”-20 male tripod screw threads for mounting solar panels, trails cameras and many other types of devices that have standard 1/4”-20 female tripod screw threads. The swivel head mount is adjustable for versatile positioning of solar panels and trail cameras. The tree mount bracket has self-tapping tapered wood screw threads for mounting to trees or wooden posts. This 7.125” long x 0.228” diameter ground stake is made of a lightweight, hardened 7001 aluminum alloy material and is perfect for securing low-voltage outdoor cables to the ground. Helps to keep your cables secure and close to the ground to avoid tripping or having them sucked up by the lawnmower! The ground stake has a “question mark” shape with a pointed tip to help penetrate the ground. The curved hook top holds cables securely in place and makes it easier to locate and pull out of the ground either by hand or with the aid of the claw of a hammer. The stake has a hexagonal shape to increase the ground contact area which helps to prevent movement and rotation. The stake is strong enough to be lightly hammered into harder ground, but care should be taken to avoid bending it. The aluminum alloy material is weather, corrosion & rust resistant.
Great for protecting the connectors on our indoor power extension and indoor power splitter cables from water, chemicals and dirt allowing them to be used outdoors! This small piece of black dual-wall heat shrink tubing is 1-inch long and has a 0.5-inch non-recovered diameter and 1/8-Inch recovered diameter. The tubing has an adhesive lined inner wall that activates once heated and creates a tough water, dirt, and chemical resistant bond after recovering from being heated. The tubing has a large 4:1 heat-shrink ratio allowing for a snug fit over rough and uneven surfaces. This piece of heat-shrink tubing is the perfect length and diameter to fit over our indoor 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connectors to create a water, chemical and dirt resistant barrier. It will also work with connections between an indoor 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector and an outdoor (IP66 rated) 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector with M12-1.75 threads. This tubing can also be used for other types of connectors such as adapters used to convert from 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connectors to USB and other types of miniature connectors. The tubing can be shrunk using a heat gun, a hair dryer and even an open flame from a lighter or a match. Made of flame-retardant materials.
Duct Seal Compound is an oil-based putty-type material that is used to waterproof and seal electrical connections and around holes and openings where wires and cables pass through, and it helps keep air and moisture out to protect circuitry and other items that might be damaged by exposure to water, dirt, chemicals, etc. The compound is made of non-drying polymers, oils, and inert fillers. The compound is a grey, soft, non-toxic, putty-type compound that adheres to clean dry surfaces such as plastic and metal. It’s easy to use and can be hand-applied at temperatures ranging from 25°F to 120°F.
